In many historical accounts, ghosts were thought to be deceased people looking for vengeance, or imprisoned on earth for bad things they did during life. Most cultures have ghost stories in their mythologies. Many stories from the Middle Ages exist with such tales.
These tales or stories depend on the idea of a ghost. Some urban legends include ghosts haunting the very places where they died in a tragic accident.
Some skeptics believe that the ghost sightings and paranormal activity are only misinterpretation due to our surroundings or the certain sensitivity of our four senses.
For example the change in air pressure makes a door slam without notice,or seeing a figure shape in the darkness which could only be explained by our tired bodies in need of rest. either way skeptic C or not ghosts are always there to be the butt of our jokes.Ghosts can also be the stories ad myths that gives us the cool chill down our spine and freaks us out of our trousers. For some ghosts are just a figment of our imagination. but did you know that about 32% of Americans believe in the existence of ghosts. boom how you like me now.just remember out of the 99 cases that could be explained there's always one that cannot.

C: I consider myself to be a logical person; Seeing is believing. I rarely ( with the exception of deja vu or some dreams) make any decisions/statements based on 'feelings' or 'signs', I trust my head which is why it is difficult to believe in Ghosts or any other paranormal phenomena. I believe our minds are more powerful then we give them credit for and that in a weak moment we can think we see something that was never really there. Sometimes we can walk into a situation and want to experience something so badly that any sound or smell that is out of the ordinary becomes a 'spiritual entity' of some sort. I am not in any way making an insinuation as to the mental state of these people... there are moments in life where you need so badly to validate your beliefs that you'll cling to the smallest evidence as a mean to gain peace and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If it makes you feel inner peace in some way.. then do whatever it takes. I just don't believe that there are any 'energies' out there communicating with us. I think its all in our heads. I mean, if one day something out there proves me wrong.. then hey, I'm open to it but as of right now I think that all that paranormal spirit stuff is just in our imaginations.
